I've never heard of TCM calling warts anything other than warts, though I guess they're going to end up looking like a phlegm nodules or blood stagnation. Call it what you will, the treatment includes rubbing some raw herb " ya dan zi " It is rubbed on to the wart till it breaks through the skin then a bandage is applied to it to keep the herb from falling off. Try and keep it on the wart only as it will sort of melt skin away and that can hurt. When you limit it to the wart, it will melt away too, but not hurt. You can rub this herb into the wart daily for about a week before it is simply too raw and sensitive to continue. Wait a week, then continue till it is all gone. Works very well, but it can be uncomfortable, especially when the herb gets on to the surrounding skin, which you'll want to avoid. I'm told that smearing some vasoline on the skin surrounding the wart can help protect it too. -al. -- http://beyondwellbeing.com Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. -Adlai Stevenson

Guest guest
I was thinking of garlic. Cut a very small slice just big enough to cover the wart and cover with a bandaid or similar tape. I suggest that it be tried at night and repeated nightly until the wart falls off. I did this for my wife for a wart and a couple of moles. I also alternated it with a drawing poultice. Worked pretty good. I've heard that duct tape works as well. John L Stafford <l.stafford wrote: My son has had a wart for nearly four years. Guest guest
When I was a boy and stayed with my grandparents in the summer, I had warts on my fingers which I was certain came on me because I liked toads and frogs and other such creatures. Grandpa told me to tell those warts to go away. So I held my hand up to the sky and I shouted, " Warts. Warts. Go Away! " In about a week I had no more warts even though I was still toting toads and frogs. Charles La Tuna

Alternatively, you can also put a few drops of the juice of the amalaki onto the wart and then keep it covered with a bandage. If you don't get hold of amalaki, then any vitamin C tablets can also be crushed and kept onto the warts, fixed in place with a bandage. _________ I have found that externally using witch hazle and tea tree oil is very useful This mixture can be placedon the warts and then the warts can be bandaged - in my experience they come off qickly
