Guest guest
Hello all, I have often heard skin doctors telling that after one crosses a certain age skin(specifically skin on the face) needs extra nourishment as opposed to earlier age and one needs to keep massaging it with some oils and creams to keep it glowing. We keep seeing advertisement about herbal treatment for face which keeps the face glowing. Are the herbal/ayurvedic treatments offered at herbal parlors harmful to the skin. Is there anything which someone can do at home with products available at home. Lot of places claim they do herbal treatment to nourish the skin, but we cannot be sure of what they use. I have a question regarding hair also. These days people have the hair removed with laser treatment. Is that advisable. Every single thing provided by god is with purpose is my understanding. By having the hair removed will it cause any harm. What is the purpose of having hair on the skin. Is it for throwing the toxins away and does removal of hair cause any problem in the removal of toxins. How can one protect the skin so that it retains its normal lusture and glow. Is there any good way of getting rid of dark circles which comes around the skin. With the dark circles small wrinkles also start appearing. What is the best way to bring it back to normal color. Any advise is highly appreciated. Thanks and Regards, Chitra

Guest guest
Beauty through ayurvedic approaches is a widely discussed subject by various vaidyas of this list. Face, skin, hair are the topics discussed. However, if you wish to shape up figure, you may need to pose the questions to Yoga experts or consult Vaidya. Removing blemishes needs detoxification. Using herbs which balance hormones, it is possible to shape up the body, reduce obesity etc. The wrinkles/graying hair do not appear for many years after menopause using some such herbal tonics.
