Guest guest
Actually there are a few MD's in the United States that are accepting Ayurveda…but most of the medicine here is motivated by money and pharmaceutical companies running it. I sure don't see any propaganda against Ayurveda accepted a few warnings from the FDA about heavy metals, but that's there job, and things must be slow down there right now. I don't real think anybody sees it as a threat right now… Everybody is into quick fixes " just give me a pill and let me go back to work " type of an attitude… It will take a long time to catch on here… I don't expect it any time soon… Noel

Guest guest
Noel, I agree with your views. As you said, everything is motivated by money, whether in India or US. Indian companies are guilty for not establishing the quality standards for so long, & that does not help their cause. There are many MD's in US who are genuinely interested but when they see the pathetic quality controls they make-up their mind quickly. If we want to make money in US, then we must not only meet but exceed their standards because that the regulation in US. It is about time that we stop finding lame excuses for bad quality. Whose responsibility should it be to have " Authentic Class I " Product and maintain high standards !? Why should we give West the opportunity to criticize in the first place? Guest guest
Thanks Dr. Yadu… It's nice to converse with like-minded people… I'd like to think that some day it will be taught in our schools like proper hygiene is now… It will not be an easy transition for Americans whereas Ayurveda is an energetic way of looking at health and the west is a material way of looking at health… In the West if you have a physical problem you go to a Medical Doctor; and if you have a mental problem you go to a psychologist or psychiatrist and spiritual, a priest, minister, pastor etc. It just stands to reason that they're all connected and therefore one healer is all that is need… Ayurveda is the greatest medicine on the face of the planet, it's just to bad that it isn't as obvious to everybody as it is to you and I and people on this forum… God bless you all… The work you do is very important … Noel ________________ As you said, everything is motivated by money, whether in India or US.
