Guest guest
Ours is an ancient civilisation and Ayurveda is such a well-established medical system. Can someone tell me if there are known ayurvedic birth-control methods from ancient times to modern day? This could be cost-effective and very easily affordable by the lay person. Thank you Pradeep
Guest guest
There are 64 herbs in ancient texts, which have contraceptive effects. One simplest and easily available in all kitchens is posted in: http://health.ayurveda/message/938 More herbal formulations will become available in future, as Indian drug industry sees the potential for easy to use herbal tablets/creams etc. More important issue is infertility, not the contraception! Modern farming, fertilisers, pollution take care of contraception. Dr Bhate ________________ Can someone tell me if there are known ayurvedic birth-control methods from ancient times to modern day?
