Respondents must specify: the anticipated scope of the proposed study; the hypothesis being tested or observation to be made and quantified; the anticipated structure of the study; the estimated timeframe to complete the study; the estimated total budget, inclusive of a preliminary categorical application of funds; a brief curriculum vitae of the respondent, as well as email, telephone and other contact information. 2. Responses should not exceed the equivalent of ten (10) typewritten pages in total length, and must be in English. 3. Responses should be in accord with the basic submission guidelines as set forth hereinabove, at http://ciofscientificresearchmodule.blogspot.com/ . 4. Responses from healthcare institutions, clinics and practitioners; educational institutions; doctoral candidates; licensed independent research facilities; professional societies and associations, and not-for-profit foundations, charitable trusts and humanitarian organizations will be given first consideration for approval and grants. Respondents from all countries and territories are invited and will be welcomed. CIOF reserves the right, in its sole discretion, and for any reason whatsoever, to accept or reject any proposal submitted from any respondent. 5. All responses must be received by no later than December 1st, 2008.
