Guest guest
Respected members. I have seen on the Files section that Cinnamon Powder can be useful in reducing the blood sugars rate (Dr. Bhate Files). In a pdf file about super foods it is said that half a teaspon twice a day can reduce the blood sugars up to 50 points. Wich way someone is supposed to take it? Maybe with warm water or along with honey? Maybe simply eating the powder? Or is there a special way to prepare it? Thank you for replies Arm

Guest guest
1/2 tsp mixed with hoeny twice a day, licked before meals, is a general recommendation, but it may be safer to start with 1/4 tsp and move on to 1/2 tsp as body adjusts. heat, boils, ulcertaion in mouth is to be watched, and if something like it appears, reduce the dosage. Reason is that cinnamon is anti-candida also. when candida gets killed, its toxins cause mouth sores/ulceration/boils. Licking means let it dissolve naturally on tongue, do not lick again till old quantity is absorbed in saliva. Processing of honey is so fast that kidney rejects excess quantity in 90 minutes through urination. Though honey contains some natural sugars, It is OK for diabetics when ayurvedic medicine is to be taken mixed in honey. Since cinnamon reduces insulin resistance, it is also a supportive topical treatment for acne caused by hormonal imbalance. ________________ Wich way someone is supposed to take it?
