seasonal fruit juice with a slice of aloe gel beaten and mixed in it.

Can anyone recommend a good morning drink to get the morning going and to wake

up?

I boil 1/3rd teaspoon of cinnamon powder in one cup of water let it simmer for a

while and i cool it a little then add a spoon of honey and drink it. First 2-3

days u may not like it later you will start liking I reduced the quantity of

honey and then i found it tastier. Honey should not be used in very hot and very

cold foods

Alternately you may boil a piece of ginger and add honey and lime juice to it. 

You may also boil tulsi leaves with ginger or even mint leaves taste good. you

may even add pepper to the drink.

That sounds good Mridula. What dosha are you? I was always scared of

something sweet; that it would make me crash. However, I do crave something

sweet in the morning. I am Pitta but have kapha imbalance.

I am a vata and a kapha. You are never strictly one dosha. You can be a

combination of all three as well. It seems sugar in the morning is a must. Of

course you must avoid white sugar take jaggery or honey or sweet dry fruits like

the dates and figs etc,
