Guest guest
Hello She needs to visit good Ayurveda physician and start a regiminal treatment. Thyroid disorders can be easily corrected through a proper lifestyle change and medicines. For starters do the following 1>Tell her to eat at regular times (breakfast (8-9 am), lunch (12-2 pm) and dinner (8-9 am) 2>for a few days tell her to have pappaya for breakfast and a porridge prepared from Nachini -Satv (Ragi extract, Elusine coraciana) for dinner. For lunch she can have a boiled vegetable like snake gourd with minimal tadka of ghee with wheat chapatis. This will ensure controlled salt intake and help her hormonal levels 3>Avoid sleeping after lunch . Have buttermilk (fresh without salt) after lunch 4>Herbs : Prepare a decoction from combination of following herbs Kanchan bark (Bauhinia variegata) 5gms, Gorakhmundi (Sphaeranthus indicus ) 5 gms, Punarnava (B. repens) 5gms , Dhamasa (fagonia cretica ) 5gms, Daruhaldi (B. aristata) 5gms, Triphala 6 gms, Gulvel (Tinospora glabra) 5gms , Gulab (rose petals) 5gms. Make fifteen packets continng each of theese herbs in said combination. Boil 1 packet in 600ml of water and reduce to 50ml and have early morning empty stomach just after Eltroxin. Soak the filetered herbs in 300ml of water, reduce to 50ml and take in evening 5>Apart from that tell her to take 2 tablets each of aartogyavardhini and Kanchanar Guggul two times a day 6>Continue this for 7 - 8 days 7>Apart from the above diet tell her to have lots of coconut water, pomegranate juice, pappya, cow's milk, raisns, figs. This wil definitely help. If she continous her steady lifestyle for 3- 4 menstrual cycles she will get good results with possiblity of stopping all thyroid medicines all the best _________ My elder sister suffers from hypothyroid, sodium deficiency and sinus, she is under etroxin for the last two years. She is only 30 and now complains of muscle cramps and pain below knee.
