Pandemic of Swine flu has created panic in our region these days.

We have published an article at our website in which Dr.Joban Modha have tried

to elaborate the Ayurveda management of Swine flu.

According to Ayurveda daily and dietary habits plays a major role in any

disease. If your digestive fire is normal, your immunity will remain powerful

and thus no infection can overrule you. Read complete article here -

Thanks for your faith in ayurveda. Most ayurvedic texts including samhitas start

with the " Fever " chapter. And hundreds of remedies depending on dosha content of

the body when fever is experienced. But when ayurveda is approached, one should

use ayurvedic yardstick, not the names such as " swine " , H1N1 coined by modern

scientists.

When an ayurvedic doctor himself looses faith in ayurveda, what happens is

published an hour ago here:

The pulse indicates the likelihood of disease even before symptoms appear or

tests are conducted. Timely changes in diet, lifestyle and herbal decoctions

which you mentioned do work. And stronger formulations offered by Ras-shastra

are useful if the disease has advanced further. Be it H1N1 or whatever name

scientists give. Look how someone obtained good relief by using garlic alone, as

reported in post#16362 !

Ayurveda can face even more sinister challenges.

Here is something about swine flu, worth discussing:
