Guest guest
hello, i did take a product called remifen .. i believe this is the spelling. it is basically black cohosh and it did help with the hot hot hot flashes. however, i developed an allergy to it after a week.. my ears swelled, my lips swelled and i broke out in welts all over my back and abdomen. now, i believe it was not the black cohosh that did it but the coating they use on the tablet, whatever it is that they use. the doctor told me never to take black cohosh again and i haven't but we disagree on what exactly i am allergic to. i know people who take this remedy for hot flashes and they love it and do not have any problems. (i have no affiliation with this product) sue-
Guest guest
Yes, I was inundated too. It happened all of a sudden; but not to worry. Could you send me the website address for your products? Thanks.Doc <DocShillingtonherbal remedies (AT) Groups (DOT) comSent: Monday, September 8, 2008 4:30:03 PM{Herbal Remedies} Apology Dear All, I truly must apologize for the many cut and deleted comms to the list in the last week. I opened the list a week ago to general posting (under moderation) and we were inundated with a cazillion posts, many of them commercials, and many promoting their own services and quite a few that were helpful. I've deleted well over a hundred posts of the "commercial" type just this weekend, and many more today. The problem with the posts that were "good" and from those who wished to "help", is that they were promoting remedies or protocols that neither I nor Bryan nor Valorie, etc had ever tried and so could therefore not allow to go through in all good conscience. This does not mean that your posts are not appreciated nor does it mean you aren't appreciated. You are, and many good ideas have been sent to me from HR. I just don't have the time to research all of these ideas in order to let these kinds of posts go through. As it is, I handle up to 3 dozen emails a day just with my normal traffic. Sooooooooooo, the new policy is also to include the fact that only my staff, myself, or my Associates (all moderators and apprentices I have fully trained myself), may offer advice on any and all health issues. I'm truly sorry, but the size of the list will simply not allow any other method of operation. The moderators, simply, can not handle such a load, and with over 7,000 members, many health professionals, welllllllll you get the picture . . . Since the new system was implemented, I've had over a dozen complaints and over 30 people have d due to the excess traffic. Again, I apologize for this as I know you want help and this is appreciated. But for a while and until I can work this out better, only Moderators will be posting advice and recommendations, to all questions. Guest guest
The Moderators of the group woud like to apologize for posts which went through accidentally today, now members can see that many undesirable posts are sent to many and unmoderated lists have many problems with this type of thing, only members who have individual emails sent from the list would have been troubled, the post has been deleted and the member banned, usuallly such people join only temporarily to spam groups in this way. Kind Regards Moderators for Ayurvedaonline
