Guest guest
Migraines are one of the toughest problems there is. Partly that's due to the fact that there are so many causes, and it can be difficult at best to track those down. Sometimes they're due to food allergies, particularly wheat, corn, and nightshades (tomatos, peppers, and potatos). For some people, simple elimination diets have worked well. But those don't work for everyone -- in fact medically NOTHING has worked for everyone with this condition. I'm pretty sure Imitrex is an older drug, which used to be used for depression before Valium was concocted. If i'm correct here, that drug tends to be very hard on the kidneys, sometimes actually destroying them. As for oils, there are a number of sources out there, including most health food stores and many " New Age " gift shops. I have observed that consistently the highest quality oils are those from Young Living, which is a multilevel. I know a couple of distributors if you want to check that out privately. Guest guest
Dear Twinklen, Sai Ram. Though it may take time, Homeopathy will definitely help you. You need acute and chronic constitutional treatment. I request you to kindly post your problem in Forum of www.hpathy.com I also suggest to you to try EFT if possible. EFT Stands for Emotional Freedom from Tapping. Initially you may need the help from an experienced practitioner. But later you can help yourself. Guest guest
Dear Aimee, It is a modified form of Acupressure. Pl. check out http://www.emofree.com/ for more details. OK. There EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. But it does involve tapping. And energy meridians in the body. It does work, as you would have read the recent testimonial from a member for his tailbone pain. Best wishes. Guest guest
Dear Swami, That is a most interesting site, thank you, and I am now on the emofree list. One thing it reminded me of was this: When I was a student training to be a teacher of Natural Vision Improvement (by The Bates Method) a few years ago, one of the things that we were taught to do was a gentle tapping all around the bony parts surrounding the eye-sockets. Nothing about acupuncture, acupressure or meridians was mentioned, just this tapping. I thought at the time, seems like a waste of time, but I was there to learn, and I did. There are lots of acu points around the eyes, and it is not a waste of time at all. Thank you again for mentioning the site. Guest guest
Dear Stewart, Sai Ram. Thank you for sharing. Is it a cure all? No! Why? Because much as we hate to admit it, we learn better through suffering. So, the indweller will decide whether to use EFT or any other technique. Best wishes. Guest guest
I started using a sinus med and my migranes have gone away. Swamy- checked out the eft site. i was only able to read some of it before my DD came in and interupted me. Is there a group that breaks down the knowledge of this practice or a MB about it? It was weird about the sore spots cuz i noticed those a while back when i was stress. For some reason the sore spot on my left is more sensitive. I would love to be balanced. These past 5 years I've been through so much that my spirit needs healing. My body keeps going but I'm not happy and balanced and I think that has cause me to be sick. I feel like i'm running a marathon and when i think i'm about to finish the race another few miles get added on and no matter how hard i try to finish , I never can. Thanks for letting me know about eft. Is there any info on other stuff to help me find peace and balance? "S.V.Swamy" <truthseeker123x wrote: Dear Stewart,Sai Ram. Thank you for sharing. Guest guest
Dear A c, Sai Ram. Pl. check. I think they have a free newsletter. Also something to download. Can you please clarify what is DD and MB? Yoga is one way of balancing the body and mind. Bach Flower Therapy (based on your emotions) is another way. And explore EFT too. Everyday, sit down and spend some minutes. Think of the life and what is the need for running. I will write to you more later. bye. Guest guest
Hello,Twinklen04, Migraines, pain stabbing in character/like redhot wires thrust through brain, worse movement,noise,light--------------->Nueralgia. Nueralgia,Magnesia Phos 6x,Biochemic Salts,10-15 caplets dissolved in very hot water, sipped every 15-30 min until pain subsides. Regular use of Mag Phos significantly reduces occurrence of migraines, intensity of pain and in many cases, does away with the migraines completely. Good luck.
