An immediate trip to your doctor. Blood in the stool is a very serious symptom. Believe me, you need to find out the cause, not try and stop the symptom. Most causes can be treated, but there is a time factor involved. PLEASE see a licensed physician, a naturopath is fine if licensed in your state. Sal

Dear Vicky;

This sounds about right, and does not in any way contradict the

ayurvedic approach or experience, as you probably can see. When we

talk about quality of digestiion/digestive fire, and enhancing it with

things like warm temp foods and drinks, good food combining, spices

and herbs which act to enhance digestion, more such factors, we are

talking about taking better care of the body's natural enzyme

functions. Ayurveda groups this in the word, Agni, which means fire.

There are many agnis, very detailed knowledge of this in ayurveda and

ability to read about them in the three part/7 level depth pulses -

what is in or out of balance in which tissue and system!

This kind of situation then would be best taken to a well trained

vaidya (ayurvedic doctor) in addition to the many supportive

adjustments we have been discussing. I promise you that we will

discuss it further in Sarita's company on the 17th of this month too;

not haveing heard of this problem she very much wants to talk about

it. Thank you for sharing!

Love,

Ysha

Hello... I'm not looking for a diagnosis, but would like any information

concerning " blood in a person's stool. "    My brother in-law had blood in his

stool the other day and it was just the one time.  He does not want to go to a

medical doctor understandably.  I almost have my degree in natural health so I

have my own thoughts about this and plan on educating him so he can start

managing his own health now and perhaps avoid the medical/pharmceutical sickcare

industry.

I would like feedback from anyone that has experienced this or knows of anyone

that has.  This group has many very informative people on it so although I am

educated in natural health and will go on to get my doctorate when I finish my

BS; I'm always looking to see if there is " new "  information to continue my own

education and learn all I can to empower others to take control of their own

wellness.

Thank you,

Bonnie
