Guest guest
Dear Krishnan : RMP based on experience is still available in some states like Bihar, UP, etc. In Kerala and TN too, if I am not mistaken. That is called "B" Registration. Enquire with Registrars of Indian System of Medicine in respective states. But be careful of the agents. They will fleece you and may also get you bogus registration. Incidentally, the Registration given by some persons in the name and style as Alternative Medicine Council based in West Bengal is NOT a valid RMP. But many are using it to hoodwink the ignorant police authorities. I am NOT sure whether for Panchkarma alone they will consider RMP, though now Panch Karma is offered as a subject of Specialisation at the M.D. Ayurveda level. .. Infact, to the best of my knowledge one does NOT need Registration to practice Panch Karma. Your 30 years experience and results are good enough if your patients are happy with you and come to you voluntarily. However, to style yourself as doctor [posted by: "kris" dr_pkk] in the absence of adequate qualification, is subject to legal scrutiny. I hope I have answered more than what you asked for.
