Guest guest
Dear brothers and sisters In context to the hot political environment of assembly election of Gujarat-2007, I watch that the person who does not have any idea of economic development, give credit to their favorite political Icon. Winning in Gujarat assembly election by any political party does not mean winning Gujarat. People of Gujarat are basically entrepreneurs. I request all politicians kindly don’t bamboozle the peoples of Gujarat and read the following points which were given by H.C. Shukul, ex-professor, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Dr.Y.C.ZalaEconomist Gujarat needs economic democracy • Gujarat has a very conducive labour force. Industry has never faced any hurdles on this count, irrespective of political party being in power. Political structure too has responded to the economic needs without being too demanding. Economic investment over the last few years has been phenomenal despite disturbed conditions. The state has an incredible capacity to bounce back. • Like any other developing economy, Gujarat too has some drawbacks which are not insurmountable. Its infrastructure has yet to pick up. Economic planning seems to be lacking coordination hence there are gaps which hinder its pace of development. There are bureaucratic bottlenecks. There is no grievance cell which could provide required assistance. An open door policy with access to the higher ups is needed. • Gujarat needs economic democracy in conjunction with political decision-making. It's time to focus more on Gujarat's economic potential than to confine to political icons. • There are umpteen untapped resources but only a willing and open system can turn them into assets. The state has demonstrated that under adverse circumstances (manmade or natural) it can accelerate the pace of economic growth. It is also time to generate a climate of confidence in all sections of the society. Gujarat is very high on its competitive index hence its future is promising. • Gujarat is an economic force of India. Hence a CEO-cum-CM would be an ideal choice. This is possible only if sycophancy takes a back seat. • Gujarat is on the right track as long as it sets its priorities with broader vision. Apart from economic potential it has a big reservoir of intellectual and social activists who should be involved without being castigated. • Gujarat brand is on the move and getting good response as long as its credentials remain neutral and intact. The brand should remain consistent with its development theme and accountability at all levels. DELETE button is history. Unlimited mail storage is just a click away. Guest guest
What is this political letter doing on Alt Health Group? If it politics associated with Vaccines, or buying of medicines like Tamiflu or Anti Retrovirals because of political pressure couple with corruption, I can understand. In future, please do NOT mix politics on Alt. Health group for two things, it will become free for all and we will lose our focus.
