Guest guest
The dry weather here is a worry to me. My skin is flaking, and my nose is about to bleed. I have started using Body Cream from Bath and Body Works, and I am using Siline and nasal spray for my nose. Does anyone have any better ideas. Thanks freddg
Guest guest
-the use of body lotions sometimes is not good, since they smother the skin from its ability to breath. if you have to use lotions, try a very think coat of cold pressed olive oil since it has no chemicals in it. AND try eating some raw fats to moisten the body from the inside out, not the outside in. for example: avacados, raw coconut cream pressed from coconut meat; raw eggs (farm fresh or organic only) raw milk, or raw butter also. depending on where you live you may be able to get raw dairy which can help. dry skin is also common with adrenal problems but it would probably be year round and not just winter. take care -- In , " mtafred " <mtafred> wrote: > The dry weather here is a worry to me. Guest guest
It is very dry here as well so I raise the humdity in the house. I have put the dryer hose to exhaust into the house. The kits are available at hardware stores. I also have a lot of house plants. When it gets really dry, put pots of water near your heat sources. Guest guest
We are using a cool mist humidifier here at our house. I have to fill it ALOT!! Also, thanks to someone on this list, we've been putting extra virgin olive oil on our skin after bathing. The difference is like night and day. Hope that helps, Kerry in MN http://www.PictureTrail.com/kerrynkass - mtafred Sunday, January 06, 2002 8:56 AM DRY WEATHER CAUSING PROBLEMS The dry weather here is a worry to me. Guest guest
Thanks for the advice. But, maybe should stay away from fats. My overall chlesterol is 239. I am only 155 lbs and feel fit. The dry weather has me spotting blood in both nostils also. Can nose bleeds in the winter be warning of possible Hepatitis C? , " dharmadan2001200291362 " <darma.dan@v...> wrote: > -the use of body lotions sometimes is not good, since they smother > the skin from its ability to breath. > if you have to use lotions, try a very think coat of cold pressed > olive oil since it has no chemicals in it. > > AND try eating some raw fats to moisten the body from the inside out, > not the outside in. > > for example: avacados, raw coconut cream pressed from coconut meat; > raw eggs (farm fresh or organic only) raw milk, or raw butter also. > depending on where you live you may be able to get raw dairy which > can help. dry skin is also common with adrenal problems but it would > probably be year round and not just winter. > > take care > > -- In , " mtafred " <mtafred> wrote: > > The dry weather here is a worry to me.
