Guest guest
Vox Mundi Shamanic Memorial Weekend, Not to be missed! A Weekend of Music Shamanism Experience Unimagined States of Liberation Through Sound May 24-26 in the Healing Energy of The Land of the Medicine Buddha, Soquel, California with Silvia Nakkach and guest musicians " The modern shamanic path consists in a creative and affirmative relationship to life. " - Stephen Larsen We refer to “shamanic” as a state of consciousness, not a traditional indigenous “shaman”. It is about expanding consciousness through music by: Seeking metaphors of healing. Seeing the sacred. Sounding the Divine The Retreat is an Invitation to: · Apply the voice to relax and bring balance to your body and your mind. Enrich your imagination with a culturally free musical repertoire. · Learn universal prayerful chants, healing songs and seed mantras. Invoke, visualize and transform into powerful musical deities. · Experience indigenous chants as seeds of delightment In this magical profession of listening with shamanic consciousness, the chant becomes the wings, the drum the horse, and consciousness is the space we travel. Entrainment is the way we travel, dwelling in the drone, abiding in the divine space of each tone as a sacred home. Using sound to travel: • To higher consciousness • From tension to openness • Through insecurity to artistic confidence Empowering the shamanic energy within, through music making, movement, and ecstatic group chanting as a way to discover new depths into our artistic and spiritual potential, embracing the extraordinary before and inside us. Discover the essential enjoyment of practicing music. This is not about discipline, but learning the right repertoire of practices, and connecting with the source of your devotional self. Retreat culminates with a spontaneous concert-offering by participants. By remembering the spiritual nature of music we open our hearts to the deep chant. " From the Land of the Medicine Buddha To the Land of the Medicine Buddha We bring Medicine Chants, They have the power to heal upon liberating the self from the self.
