Kim,

have you been taking anything else??? Is your throat still sore, inflamed???

I think I would go for the total tonic since you are taking echinacea and garlic already.

for Laryngitis try Echinacea Plus Formula; TotalTonic; DMSO (this is what is in the files)

Hey Kim,

Your voice will get worse before it gets better. Right now your body is

attempting to throw off something or other and this is a manifestation of

that. Try expressing some fresh garlic juice and mixing it with honey and

allowing it to coat your throat. Or.... try mixing honey and fresh squeezed

lemon and trying that. Or... try sage tea. As a last resort you can always

try mixing up a cayenne gargle and giving it a shot. Are you taking any

cayenne? If not you should be taking it. Will help you quite a lot. Just my

..02 cents worth with no gin in sight and no gingko to speak of. Now where

did I leave my garlic. lol

Well we got a cute little bichon yesterday and to be

honest I feel overwhelmed. She is only 6 weeks and is

sad to be without her sister and brother. It breaks my

heart. Everyone really likes her but I feel

overwhelmed. There was a worm in her stool. ugghh. She

whines for her sister. I wonder when she will stop. I

also feel itchy since yesterday. I think I made a

mistake but maybe I'm overreacting, the poor thing. My

family will never forgive me for selling her if I am

allergic to her and no one else is. This is not going

well. Kel

Kel, hang in there. It gets a lot easier. Our pup also cried the first few days, but they forget really quickly. In a week or less she'll be fine. As far as the itching, you might get used to the dog and then you won't react. Keep your fingers crossed.

Last night, I had a lot of bread and then I couldn't sleep with the pain in my colon. I thought of you. I wonder if we're allergic to wheat. You might want to check into that.

Take care, Amelia

Hi Amelia, how are you? I am very definitely allergic

to wheat, doing my best to avoid it as well as sugar.

The puppy is certainly keeping my family more active.

I just don't know why I am depressed right now.

Sometimes I really can't figure my emotions out. Kel

I'm sure it's stressful having the new puppy. Try to take it easy (if possible!) and be especially kind to yourself.

Kelly-

When we adopted a tiny puppy last yr, I placed a towel-covered hot water

bottle in her

bed. As one of 9 in a litter and weighing only a pound, I was afraid she'd miss

the warmth

of the puppy pile to which she had been accustomed. It worked very well at

night. Also, as

corny as it sounds, we carried her a sling of sorts to share our warmth and to

get her used

to us. I'd do both of those again for a new pup.

Hope things mellow out and you enjoy your new girl. Bichie's are So cute : )

joys!

Thank you Lee Anne, I will take your advice. My family

named her Winnie. I just feel badly for her. After all

this research and avoiding pet stores. I broke down

and I think I bought her from a large kennel which is

not exactly a puppy mill, but nothing I should have

rewarded. I am so stupid, but people tell me to chin

up and just go from here. My puppy looks like a little

sad clown, she whinnies for her brother and sister and

I wonder when she will stop longing for them. Kel

Place a clock that makes the sound of the ticks beside the puppy's cage and the puppy will love it. I've always wrapped a towel around the clock and placed it in their beding. It is best to train a puppy by keeping them in a cage and take the puppy outside about every 2 hours. The puppy will not dirty in the area where they sleep. Give the puppy a treat and lots of praise when they do their job outside .

Kel,

I suggest you take a slightly damp wash cloth and wipe it through your hair and everybody else's in the family then rub it over her. That will help her to assimilate into her new "pack". The smells will make her feel more at home. If you have an old stuffed toy she can cuddle up with and sleep with that will help her too.

All new pups have worms, you have to get her shots and when she is current on all those that should help. For itching, I always just used our shampoo and conditioner, I knew I wasn't allergic to those.

They also have some good puppy shampoos that are mild for those with allergies.

Are you going to crate train her? And what is her name?
