I saw an infectious disease doctor yesterday due to my lab work that he had received. I have Valley Fever, Cocci, and all my Immunoglobulins, IgG, IgA, and IgM are very low. I was on Difulican for the valley fever for almost a year and now he has ordered me to be on a newer and more expensive drug, Vfend.

Can anyone tells me a natural way to get my globulins up in a natural way. I'm on several vitamins that was ordered by a naturopathic doctor?

Hi Marilyn,

What did the naturopath say the vitamins will do for

you and what vitamins are they? I have some resources

that may have information. I look and see what I can

find out for you.

COLOSTRUM!! COLOSTRUM!! It is loaded with all the immunoglobulins if the product is of high quality. Did he check your white blood cell count?

IgA is the most common immune system deficiency and is responsible for the defense of the mucous linings in the body. No one at this time knows how to correct this. But colostrum is safe and can be taken forever if you have to. I recommend it to people all the time for yeast and candida, it works. L & M Beaver <mbeav wrote:

Your welcome and I would take 3 times what ever dose they recommend for starters, or even more. A chewable is best in my opinion, gets it working in the mouth and all the way down.

What is your blood type and I will see what else is good for your immune system?

Are you going to take the voriconazole? For how long is he recommending?

Valley Fever is serious and caused by Coccidioides sp., the first drug of choice is amphotericin B followed by ketoconazole. I don't see voriconazole listed anywhere so it may be a new class of azole drug, or is it?? Make sure they monitor your liver enzymes Marilyn if you are going to be on this for any length of time.L & M Beaver <mbeav wrote:

Hi Dan and Marilyn,

I'm curious again, Dan! Is this the same colostrum that women produce just prior to and during the first few days after childbirth? And if so, how or where does one get it? This just makes so much sense to me, but I've always only known of one source for colostrum! It was so important to me to nurse my 3 babies so they would get that colostrum. I never made it past 4 months nursing any of them, but I think that was plenty long enough for my kids to get the immune system building benefits of nursing. If I were a cat, I would be the epitomy of the phrase "curiosity killed the cat"! I always want to know new things, so I hope I'm not a bother when I ask all these questions! I had hoped to find some info for Marilyn too, through some of my resources. But I don't think I can find anything better than what you suggested for her here!

Dan'

Thanks so much for your thoughts! On 6-24-05 my WBC was at 6.6 and the ref. range is 4 to 11. On that same date my RDW is high at 14.7, ref range 11.5 to 14.5. I don't know my blood type. I've had lots of lab, but don't see my type listed. I've requested the lab info from my surgery last year.

Can you suggest a brand for the Colostrum?

Marilyn

Thanks Dan. When I was growing up in Tennessee, we would go to a dairy farm and get our milk only minutes after it came from the cow. It was so good and sweet and always developed the cream cap that we would use to make butter. I guess maybe it was doing us alot more good than we thought! Everyone hears me preach about eliminating dairy products from your diet because they cause acidity. But that was the single hardest thing for me to give up, even more than sugar! I love milk and could drink a gallon a day just by myself. I love cheeses and cottages cheese and ice cream!!! Thanks again for the info though. I hope it helps Marilyn and would be interested in knowing what her results are if she tries it. Hopefully I'll be able to use it to help someone some day too, maybe even myself!
