Guest guest
Here I go again! I highly recommend the book " Meditation - Path to the Deepest Self " by Michal Levin. This is a great book for anyone who is new to chakra meditation, as well as for those who are experienced. Before introducing the chakras, the book explains energy and how it works within the body and without, in the enegy bodies. It describes each of the chakras in detail, the role each plays and the body parts it is associated with. The author describes the color of each chakra the way he sees them. I see mine a little differently. You may see your chakras in different colors from the book, or the same colors in different positions. Then the book takes you into the actual meditation. It explains the importance of the alignment of the body, visualization, time for meditation, environmental factors, and recording your meditation experiences. It takes you through each chakra in the process of the meditation. It goes farther in describing a group meditation conducted by the author and the individual meditation experiences of some of the group participants. The book is an easy read. Everytime you turn the page, you are on to the next topic. It is very informative though and will have you meditating in no time! Meditation is a powerful tool in healing. It is relaxing and rejuvenating. I've worked hard on getting into my own head to fix things for myself, both physically and mentally. Doreen is really good at getting into your head and fixing things too! Hypnosis is the ultimate meditation experience! Meditation really helped me get out of the depression and anxiety that I got secondary to my cancer. So read a good book and enjoy some good meditation!
