Guest guest
It's good to see you here Kel! I have had insomnia since the cancer. I haven't slept in 4 years! My radiation oncologist wanted ot put me on ambien but my insurance wouldn't pay for it. It looks like that was a small streak of good luck for me, now! Like I said about your last post - my insanity is just fine! I don't need drugs to perfect it!Blessings, Renee"Kelly W." <kellykebby wrote: http://sleepdisorders.about.com/od/medication/a/ambien_driver.htm Mail Use Photomail to share photos without annoying attachments. Guest guest
Renee, I suffer from insomnia too. Right now, I'm on Trazodone, but I want to get rid of that. Do you know of anything natural? Guest guest
Sorry but I am budding in. This is a all natural way that is truly amazing and it is is totally free. I was suffering for months of insomnia and I came across an article by Dr Christopher and he said insomnia is caused by the loss of the earth natural electricity running threw your body, so how to getting running, take your shoes off and step on the earths natural ground. What happens is the earth natural electricity gets cut off from our rubber soled shoes. When I first read this there was a foot of snow on the ground and I thought it sounded corny anyhow, we shortly went to Cancun after I read that and low and behold the insomnia was gone, Lord knows I didn't have shoes on there. Now I would throw my body on the snow if I had too... The other things that have worked is Orthinine that Dr Hulda Clarkes says to take when you are doing the liver flushes and that helps tremendously too. Guest guest
Amelia, a good juice recipe for sleeping is 3 or 4 lettuce leaves and 1 stalk of celery. And Gina is right on the money with the renewal of the earth's energy. In addition to that, you should eliminate all other forms of energy that are not absolutely necessary before you go to bed. Like make sure the TVs are off, the computer, etc. That, in itself, helps me alot.Gina, although I was raised catholic and still practice catholism, mostly for the benefit of my mom!, I also practice Wicca (ok, I said it, now everyone knows!). I draw energy from the earth daily. If I need energy during the day, I can draw energy from the sun or from different species of trees, like pine or oak. I have always had this lifestyle, very close to nature, a worshipper of the sun and the full moon and everything celestial, a recycler, lover of animals and protector of the environment, etc. I've been into herbalism, meditation, yoga, etc. for a very long time. And although I've always been a pretty devout catholic, I just feel a whole lot better not walking around feeling guilty about something all the time, because I am a good person and have very little to feel guilty about! So why should I feel that way just because the church says I should? I really prefer to connect with the divine through nature's energies and through meditation. My 5 year old will still make her first holy communion though! It's a 2000 year old family tradition! Melatonin is good for sleep too. It makes me feel hung over the next day so I don't take it. I really don't like sleep aid drugs of any kind. I take a Tylenol pm once in a great while. Or Benedryl has the exact same active ingredient as Tylenol pm. I will try to find some more good juice recipes. I should have done it a long time ago for myself. But the further I get past the depression and anxiety I had after cancer, the more clear my head gets and I'm really just starting to get back to a normal routine. I still have episodes of chemo brain! But that is getting alot better with time too! I'll be a normal person again in no time!Blessings, ReneeGina Kopera <ginakopera1 wrote: Sorry but I am budding in. This is a all natural way that is truly amazing and it is is totally free. Guest guest
Renee, I was also raised Catholic and always felt guilty for not liking it! Of course I still struggle with the guilt sometimes, I'm getting a lot better. Both my kids (now teenagers) did their First Communion, but we no longer practice. I like Buddhism and Eastern religions a lot (always have!) and I do a lot of meditation, yoga, etc. Blessings, Amelia On Behalf Of Renee JudkinsWednesday, March 22, 2006 8:16 PM Subject: RE: Ambien and bizarre behavior Amelia, a good juice recipe for sleeping is 3 or 4 lettuce leaves and 1 stalk of celery. Guest guest
I have been to this site, as I found it on Gina's website. Thanks Gina!Blessings, ReneeGina Kopera <ginakopera1 wrote: A Good webpage for juicing recipe http://www.juicingbook.com/ but yes celery has to helped me in the past.
