Guest guest
I'm sorry that you lost your mother Amelia, especially to cancer (and on my birthday, too, of the same year I was diagnosed). I will always remember her now and will say a little prayer for her and for you each year on my birthday.Blessings, ReneeAmelia Gerlach <ameliagerlach wrote: Renee, it was especially inspiring (though sad) for me, because my Mom died of lymphoma (5 years ago today). In my opinion the juices and the coffee enemas are the most important part of the therapy. The original gerson therapy was 4 carrot apple and four green juices but over the years Charlott increased it to its present 13 juices a day.Of course it is also important to eat enough since cancer is a wasting disease. I had a 4 cm tumor on my small intestine and nodes everywhere, under the arm pits, groin, and neck. It all resolved at about the two year point on Gerson. It is true that it would be hard to work and do the therapy but a person has to make it work if they are going to do it succesfully. Some people will take carrot juice in a thermos but that will not work for the green juices.I went to visit my sister for a week and did coffee enemas at her house and juices too. She is an MD. so you can imagine what she had to say about what I was doing. But I had faith that I was doing the right thing and would not let anyone deter me once I started. Your life is at stake here so it behoves you to find something that will work for you. I hired a person to come a few hours a day to juice and cook for me.There were many challenges but I believe that I stimulated my immune system by taking my health into my own hands and not listening to the doctors who questioned my sanity at times and told me I would be dead if I did not do CHOP chemotherapy at once. Now the oncologist says somehow they had to misdiagnose me becase the large cell lymphoma is 100 percent fatal if not treated.Maybe its the chemo that is fatal. I did not know that it was going to work for me but it appealled to me in so many ways that I just plowed on even when my largest tumor continued to grow and my onc said at least do another surgury. When I met with the surgon he was amazed that I was still alive several years later.I asked him why he thought I was still alive and he said [well obviously something has stimulated your immune system] and he added, that diet has nothing to do with it.He said there is no evidence that once established ,diet can alter the course of cancer. And I liked this guy, especially when he said I recommend surgury but I have a feeling you are not going to do it.This was over ten years ago. I am alive and healthy today because I would not let a doctor kill me with their treatments. IN time medicine may come up with something for cancer but so far the results are not there. I encourage you to pick a path to your recovery, what ever it is for you, have faith in your choice , and stick to it like your life depended on it.Health is wealth . Best of luck to you and your recovery and to everyone who may be reading this. don storm ps I take phone calls if anyone wants to call me, free of course. MailBring photos to life!
