Guest guest
This is an interesting question.Have cfs/fibro. I have hypoglycemia. I have had a problem with being constipated for years. I ocastionally take a laxative but I notice when I have more of a bowel movement I feel sicker and hunger. What scares me about taking a colon cleaner and really going is really getting sick from being emptied out. The only thing that seems to help is if I have sweets. I've told my doc and of course he looks at me like I am crazy. Any thoughts? Pauline
Guest guest
I think, just my opinion, you need to get cleaned out. You have to have this tar like cess lining the intestinal walls. When you do break some loose and go the toxins, or cleansing reaction, makes you feel sick. Almost everyone that goes thru any kind of healing cleansing reaction for whatever will have this reaction to some degree. It just goes with the territory. For instance. I recently had someone request my help for candida that was diagnosed by an antibody test by her doctor. She had gotten to the point she could not work any more and had to come home. We talked a few times and I told her to start with diet for a few weeks before starting herbs and things. That the die-off reaction could be very uncomfortable. Well, she also has a couple other doctors she sees, both natural and homeopathic, she bounces all this info off of all of them and then proceeds with whatever she thinks is best I think. She didn't listen to me and proceeded full bore with a product she found from my website. It laid her out for 7 days sick in bed!!! So my suggestion to you Pauline is get a good probiotic and start taking that every day. If you don't know what a good one is, let me know and I can most certainly point you in the right direction. A good one will start to clean you out slowly without to many side affects. The most they ever last anyway is about a week or less. And when its over you will feel so much better you will s... Hope that helps, Dan Oh...hypoglycemia or low blood sugar. Maybe because of this cess you are not absorbing the nutrition you need to maintain a normal sugar level? Just a thought. > " Pauline " <pshreiman > > > Pauline >Sat, 25 Mar 2006 05:14:56 -0000 > >This is an interesting question.Have cfs/fibro. Guest guest
Probiotics are good bacteria. The cess I refer to is compacted poop lining the intestinal wall. It gets to be tar like. Cess was just a nice way to refer to it. It is not a good thing to not be having a bowel movement everyday. > " pshreiman " <pshreiman > > >RE: Pauline >Sat, 25 Mar 2006 02:52:21 -0500 > >Thanks, what is probiotic and cess? Guest guest
I have not heard that before, Pauline, But I will ask Dr. Silva, my friend, . Maybe it has something to do with the bipolar disorder and she could probably suggest a different dosage and maybe even help monitor how you continue to do on it or possibly suggest something else that would give you the same nutrional benefit and keep you feeling as good all the time as you did when you first started using the First Essentials. Don't get discouraged.I've had a death in my family and will call you in a day or so. I'm here to give you all the support you need Pauline. And Noelle, my 5 year old, asked me if we could go back sometime to visit my friend, that nice lady! She likes you! Talk to you soon.Blessings, Renee"pshreiman" <pshreiman wrote: I am realizing that the First Essentials from First fitness is loosing it's effect. I wonder why? (from below) You MUST get on a restricted carbohydrate diet to help balance out your blood sugar so that you will feel better. I have/had the same thing, only mine has swung into the mildly diabetic zone most of the time. this is what happens over time if you are hypoglycemic and continue to eat sweets. Also, it is hard on your adrenals glands and yours are probably quite taxed at this point. > I have had a problem > with being constipated for years. IM>>>>>>Have you considered low thyroid? Do you use psyllium husks regularly? > What > scares me about taking a colon cleaner and really going is really > getting > sick from being emptied out. You might want to work with bentonite clay and psyllium seed husks for awhile to clear out some of the toxins. Also, using activated charcoal scoops up poison that is in the gut. You can get it through http://www.starwestbotanicals.com yOu can also get it at health stores if you want to pay a whole lot more. > The only thing that seems to help is if I > have sweets. IM>>>>>>>That is because you are describing a major blood sugar problem. The more sweets you eat, the better you feel for a little bit, but then it just makes it worse and your blood sugar will be yo-yo-ing up and down making you crave even more sugar and carbohydrates. You will need to eat plenty of high quality protein. > I've told my doc and of course he looks at me like I am crazy. Any > thoughts? IM>>>>>>Yes. I have thoughts. Your doctor is crazy, not you, LOL. Get used to that! I have been around long enough that most doctors stories and comment from them no longer phase me. There are only a few really good ones out there. The rest, I think are " practicing " medicine, to see if with " practice " , they can get any better at it. Guest guest
This also sounds like it could be candida screaming for the sugar - starves unless you feed it sugar and carbs. Candida also creates a lot of nasty toxins that can make you feel real sick. Candida often presents itself with loose bowels, but I used to have it with no loose bowels. You could be a misdiagnosed hypothyroid person, (which would also be causing a lot of your symptoms) and that would keep your bowels in a constipated state. ~Inga On Mar 26, 2006, at 5:57 PM, Renault wrote: >> What >> scares me about taking a colon cleaner and really going is really >> getting >> sick from being emptied out. >> The only thing that seems to help is if I >> have sweets. > > >> I've told my doc and of course he looks at me like I am crazy. Guest guest
Try taking magnesium, that should help with your bowels and sleep. Guest guest
I agree with Inga. Drs are clueless unless hit over the head by outrageous lab values. Have you been tested for mercury? I have had all of the things Inga talked about due to mercury. Mercury is notorious for causing thyroid problems candida hypoglycemia, and many other problems. An easy way to do a quick check is do the body temp, if you are below 97.8 good chance it is thyroid. Find someone who is familiar with mercury and thyroid issues not some HMO creep who doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground. If you have amalgams or have eaten a lot of fish or live near coal fired electric plants you have been exposed to large amounts of mercury. The only difference between Drsand God is ....God doesn't think he is a Dr.
Guest guest
Hi Pauline, No, those syymptoms don't seem crazy to me at all. I have had those same symptoms. I have dealt with CFS now for six years and am slowly getting my health back. I don't know what is causing your symptoms, but what I can tell you is what helped me. I took a product called xxxxx xxxx which I got from a Chiropractor trained in Nutrition. Along with this for three months and liver and colon cleansing, my hypoglycemia disappeared. To maintain proper glucose levels, there is a 'concert' between the liver, pancreas, and adrenals. If one organ is not functioning properly, altered glusose levels can result. Also, can I suggest you look into Yeast Syndrome and see if the symptoms fit for you or not. I also take B12 that has helped tremoundously! Have you tried a Natropathic Physician? Or a Doc specializing in Fatigue? Hope this helps, Pauline! Kate , " Pauline " <pshreiman wrote: > > This is an interesting question.Have cfs/fibro.
