Guest guest
WOW! That's wonderful that you're cleaned out! I bet your body NEEDED that. About your BMs. One BM once a week is NOT normal. (It's not uncommon, especially in today's fast-food society, but it's certainly not healthy!) PLEASE monitor your fiber intake. Make sure you get a lot more than I suspect you've been getting. The daily recommendation for fiber ranges from 25-30 grams. DO read all your nutritional labels, and make sure that when you consume grains, that they're whole grains (preferably sprouted...tough to find except in health-food stores, but YUM!) One thing I do for increased fiber, too, is to consume soy milk in place of some of my dairy. (There's some controversy surrounding soy. Some claim it's not fit for consumption, which IMO is bull, and other critics validly claim that the soy industry is so messed up right now that it's tough to tell what's really genetically modified and what's not. I read my labels as best I can and go with my gut reaction when it comes to trusting soy manufacturers and I drink some soy despite the concern. So if you drink dairy, try some non-dairy like soy or almond or rice milk, which'll have more fiber than animal milk, which has NONE.) Also, if you're into rice, eat brown rice instead of white. Hell, even our corn potato chips have 3g fiber per serving, which is practically unheard of...LOL, even our JUNK food is healthy! But I've heard that a full **95%** of ppl living RIGHT NOW will have colon problems, and most of it is due to a lack of fiber (white breads, white rices, or worse, those Atkins sheep who consume practically NO fiber ks they're scared of the almighty grain and they ain't smart enough to have the appropriate amount--read: A LOT--of veggies with their meat...LOL) Getting cleaned out was a GREAT start!! Now, you just wanna stay that way...I imagine those cramps weren't too fun... Just my ramblings... Guest guest
Well the new week after being " cleaned out " I have been able to have bowel movements everyday at least once a day, sometimes two and I have been counting the fiber intake, I noticed I was only getting about 9g of fiber. Working to get that 20 to 30g was really really hard, but something I had not paid attention to before. OUR US Diet SUCKS... You can't buy anything .. even in the health aisle without getting all the excess junk added... I can thank the grocery store food (we hardly ever ever eat out) so I can't blame the fast food .. for my high anxiety that still kicks in with too much screaming from the kids. Sigh.. even trying to eat " all " organic and " all " and only Livefood is very very very very difficult in the United States. and I am not making excuses. Biting on ginger all day, drinking tea, eating fruit and fresh cooked soups. It sounds simple right, well it isn't that simple unless your home alone all day long with no : " other " people responsibilites. I have responsibilities to my husband, my children, trying to balance equal time with them, cooking healthy, planning healthy meals on a daily basis, God knows tyring to fit in a bath and actually get 10 mins of peace somewhere in a 24 hour period. I am at the point of giving up... Hugs Deana > > Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: > 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. > 2.
