First, yes i was just thinking today how glad i am that i quit that habit of diet sodas. it seemed like an easy way out as it keeps one linked up with the junk food sensations while being non sugar... well, now that i think of it i am less suicidal now that i quit that habit and am doing all raw foods with short fasts of one day here and there. now it is apparent that diet sodas are scary in some way and i am not suprized about the formaldehyde!!! I also was craving cigarrettes so i came upon some and tried it. two puffs and i was coughing and ready to crush the pack and have not craved them since then. just the raw food with perserverence and a stubborn resolve. i am amazed at the results. eating huge quantities has made all the difference. i mean like when craving a pig out, eat a pound of carrots, half pound of celery and a big pear topped off with a few fresh dates, raw almonds and srawberries and this is raw food high heaven. an avocado usually puts an end to any gnawing

sensations of not having enough food. just eat until stuffed like a thanksgiving turkey without the dead part. sprout garbonzo beans for a variety as well as lentils and any bean you like. sunflower seeds are good also and can be soaked and/or sprouted or eaten simply raw (same with all the nuts and seeds). any way this is a generalization and everyone has their own response. I have been eating tons of raw foods and have lost over 5 pounds in four days when i fasted on diet soda i lost no weight at all. now my digestive system is going nutzo, complete with multiple callings from nature to.. engage in bowel movements for the past two days i am going with it, even though i feel sick a lot i know from past research to trust the raw diet and this is part of the detox. there is a cleanse going on that looks like a problem and leads many to say that raw foods are not for them because they make them go to the bathroom too much! Oh well. to be raw one begins to develop a force field of

confidence and less desire to conform. the raw diet is so ridiculously non- mainstream that it calls one to one's own original nature.

the early pioneers in the new raw food movement which has really taken off are from Nature's First Law and the book by that name is raw in it's earliness, inspiring in it's convictions and interesting in it's non- linear way of uncorrupted, youthful profound logic.

enough!
