Hello All,

I am going to start a fast in a week and a half and I am getting

ready. I have decided on a juice fast because I am overweight and I

am sure very toxic. I have never done this before and I am just

looking for some advice

I am doing this to begin to detox my body, loose some weight and feel

better. I haven't yet decided on how long I am going to commit to for

the fast so recommendations would be appreciated.

Also, I have read that on a juice fast you can have water, any fresh

fruit or vegetable juices and herbal teas sweetened with honey. Is

this what others have read? Also, may I have homemade sprouted nut

mylks like almond mylk? I make mine with soaked almonds and dates.

It's blended and thoroughly strained.

I also read that you can have supplements. I am thinking of including

a multivitamin (Vita Synergy for Women), a green powder (Pure Synergy

or Nature's First Food), some raw Maca powder and organic sulfur and

maybe some glucosamine because I have TMJ. Is this appropriate?

Can I also include dried fruits if they are soaked and juiced? For

example dates or Goji berries that have been soaked and either blended

and strained with other fruits and veggies or juiced through the

juicer with other veggies. Finally, can I include frozen fruits if

they are thawed and either blended and strained or juiced?

Any other advice or recommendations are welcome. Like I said I don't

know much about fasting.

Thank you in advance for your support.

-Jennifer
