Re Dictionary

The best that I know of is Potter's New Cyclpaedia of Botanical Drugs and

Preparations published in 1972. I have no idea if it is available at this time.

My copy is dog eared, cracked and very well worn. One of the most interesting

things about it is the anecdotes from ancient times in old English from the 15th

and 16th centuries. It also has rare alternative names for herbs I've seen

nowhere

else.
