Guest guest
From what I understand, the critical extracts of herbs are extracted by CO2 method. Is this different from CO2 extracted essential oils? In other words, is the CO2 extracted ginger essential oil that I have (which is wonderful, BTW) any different than the ginger in critically extracted herb gel caps? I use ginger for inflammation, and it works wonderfully. I use the ginger capsules (dried) and ginger syrups (in honey) and crystallized ginger. What I am thinking is that I can add the CO2 ginger to honey and use that for tea instead of buying the ready made stuff; it would certainly be cheaper. I am going to try growing ginger, too. My hubby just planted some that I had that began sprouting, so hopefully next fall I will have fresh ginger. Any ideas/thoughts are appreciated.
