Guest guest
I just had my first baby last Nov... and my first cold in 3 years, this week. Alot has been going on... moving, holidays, company from all over... Well, I feel like this sickness is getting worse... aweful cough, sinus pain, etc. What can I do besides munch garlic and vit. C? I am breastfeeding and I really hope I kick this " ick " before my new daughter catches it. I live in SC and delivered my baby in GA (free-standing birthing center)... 2hrs. away. Any advice? I'll keep searching... ~Michelle-Lee
Guest guest
Michelle-Lee, I cannot help with the medicinal side, but I can tell you that the best thing you can do to keep your daughter from getting that nasty cold is to keep breastfeeding. You are passing all your natural immunities to your baby by doing so. I breast fed all of my three children. The last two past 18 months. It is the single best thing you can do. Congratulations and I hope you kick the cold soon! Kathy
