Another thing to consider is how athletic you are. It may sound strange, but some very athletic women have suppressed menstruation cycles. That is not an exhaustive list of factors which could affect cycles. There are herbs which can help regulate cycles and strengthen the uterus. To regulate hormones/use it to normalize periods: 1 1/4 teaspoons vitex tincture 3/4 teaspoon black cohosh tincture 1/2 teaspoon motherwort tincture 1 teaspoon boldo or burdock root tincture 1 teaspoon St. John's wort tincture 1/2 teaspoon California poppy tincture Blend the tinctures together. Take 1 teaspoon morning and evening, at least 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after meals. Take for at least four months. (Formula from The Herbal Drugstore by Linda B. Guest guest
Hi Kelly, Sounds as if your hormones have gone a little wacky. In order to do a complete evaluation, I'd need a lot more data such as what you eat, drink, etc. etc. The first place I'd look is your diet. If you are eating a lot of red meat from your local grocer there's a good chance that the meat is loaded full of hormones and antibiotics and that it is throwing your own hormones for a loop, so the first tip is to cut out red meat altogether for a while and when things settle down eat only chem-free, free-range natural meats in moderation. Same goes for your chicken or any other meat. Fish? Never buy farm raised fish = fresh from the ocean only. Ya gotta get the natural stuff. I'd also recommend a natural herbal remedy high in Wild Yam, Dong Quai, and Chaste Tree Berries. Check out the files for the recipes on the Female Formula. It is second to none. Guest guest
Check the "natural" meats in your healthfood store and a good idea is to check out a jewish deli for kosher meats. A thorough check of your area should produce at least one good source. As far as additional supplements to take, the Total Nutrition formula in the files is the most comprehensive and most absorbable supplement I know of. Try and get the ingredients at your local healtfood store and mix it up yourself, if that's a no go, then send me a private e-mail and I'll ship you my company info on the product. I'd also a recommend a very high quality Vitamin E, and CoQ10 formula. Again, if you can't get them locally, write me. Good luck with the Female Formula, it's a winner.
