Valorie- Many times the Extension Service does not have answers for us here in Florida. I've called ours here in my town so many times, and they simply don't have an answer for me. One time I got so upset, I told them they shouldn't even be getting paid to sit there and not be able to answer questions. Really. Now that I have a computer I don't need the Extension Service any more. I can find more information than they can, because they aren't even online in this cow town. They know NOTHING about herbs whatsoever unless you're talking about parsley or something they are familiar with. Forget anything medicinal.

Re: [herbal remedies] chapparal

Thanks for looking it up, Penny. I had a thought after the fact that I could have just suggested checking with the Extension Service there in Florida instead of asking you and Jamie. I forgot who inquired so maybe they will read this and can check out the Chaparral that way.

Elaine,

I dont know where you are in FL but the 2 counties I took the Master

Gardner programs in were very knowledgeable. I learned a lot from them

and went on to the advanced class in Gainesville.

I was in Brevard county and Osceola counties. Melbourne and

Kissimmee/ST. Cloud.
