Guest guest
Hi Paulissa, I use rice bran syrup or pure maple syrup when baking in place of refined sugar. I read somewhere once that they do not effect your blood sugar the way refined sugars do. Seems to make a difference on my kids although I'm not 100% sure this is true. My whole family and me especially have problems with dairy and mucous also. I use rice milk, goat milk, almond milk, dairyless ice creams, in place of cows milk. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Paulissa...You can bake with honey or maple syrup. And for a milk substitute, how about almond milk? Valerie can tell you how to make it....Mary Ostrowski - <naturehlr <undisclosed-recipients:;> Monday, April 09, 2001 6:29 AM [herbal remedies] A QUESTION ABOUT SUGARS & ALTERNATIVES TO COW'S MILK > Hi Everyone, > > I have a few questions for anyone who might be able to point me in the proper > direction as I can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for in my copy of > Prescription for Nutritional Healing; it's probably there-I just don't know > what to look for!! lol > > 1.
