Guest guest
Can anyone help me out with remedies for conjunctivitis (not the " pink eye " kind?) One of my cats has been having an eye gook problem (the animals' herbal remedies didn't really have any suggestions that I didn't already have.) I had been using an infusion of dried rosemary leaves and a finely diced, peeled thick slice of cucumber and that seemed to be working OK, but not as well as I would have liked. I bathed his eyes with the stuff pretty thoroughly, about 3 or 4 times a day. Unfortunately I don't have any access to too many herbs, since they're all still little babies out in the garden yet. The rosemary was in my lazy susan and the cuke was in the fridge. I was thinking maybe grated carrot would be good, but then I realized I'd either have to bind it to him or make him sit still for a much longer time than he is capable of (we are convinced he has some form of kitty cat ADD.) Thanks! Julie

But thanks for the suggestion...that's really interesting! It's cool how nature provides us with what we need if we only put away all the artificial stuff. Guest guest
Breastmilk! It works on humans, anyway. When one of my kids get it, I treat the whole family and no one else gets it. When I don't have any more nurslings, maybe I can get some of that wonderful " gold " from dd or one of my daughters-in-law! BTW, only helps if it's bacterial. If it's viral, time is the only thing that cures it, or at least that's been our experience. Constancia ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
