Our ideal is to get the farm self-sufficient enough where neither of us has to have an outside job. We moved a small house out here and are remodeling it....one side for Mike to do woodworking and one side for me to do canning, pickling, and meat processing. Hoping to get to the point where we can sell localy organic/hormone free meats, sausage, eggs, canned goods, fresh vegetables and fruit. Getting there slowly but surely Dena
Guest guest
Dena, Sounds like a great plan but why are you there? I think you should move next door to me and I'll be your best customer and get you lots of business besides!! I heard that Good Morning America did a show some months back where they did a survery of what were the most important things to the Baby Boomers and the two things that came up were: ALTERNATIVE HEALTH CARE and ORGANIC FOOD This went out over prime time television. I bet the pharmaceuticals and other vested interests went crazy on this one. So you are in the right business. Go for it. You will win, win, win!!! $$$$$$$ Valorie - cpdena herbal remedies Wednesday, April 11, 2001 8:22 AM Re: [herbal remedies] Animals ValorieShillington writes:> I'd say intention definitely counts as that makes the future. Three years ago I was packing up to move to Taos but circumstances intervened and I didn't go. On the good side....I never would have met my one and only true love, Mike. And I never would have grown to love and appreciate THIS land. Sigh, but I still miss the mountains and need a " fix " every now and then. We're planning a trip out west late July/early August.
