Guest guest
I have one of those particularly nasty gynocological disorders that there is so much misinformation about. It's called vulval vestibulitus, and basically the symptoms are pain and inflamation in the vulval area. There is no known cause, but the two theories I find most believable, are either that it's linked to other infections such as thrush or bacterial infections, or that it may be caused by muscular misalignment. Anyway, you can imagine the type of reactions Ive had from some doctors, for years I was told it's all psycological. Anyway, the reason I'm writing is that like many women with this problem, I have swollen batholin's glands- those are the glands just inside the vagina. The medical approch is to surgically remove them, which seems somewhat extreme, as they extend about three inches. I am wondering about the possibility of using herbs to help the glands go down. I understand that wild indigo can help swollen glands in other parts of the body, is it unreasonable to suppose it might work on these? I understand that speculation is a no-no on this list, but if there is anyone who has any experiance with either this illness or this type of herb, and would be willing to share, I would be most appreciative! Guest guest
Dear Alison, Never had to deal with that one before, however there are some basics which are applicable here. Wherever you have a glandular problem, you can bet your booty that there is also a problem with the Liver. I've never known of an exception to that rule and I think you'll find that a thorough Bowel and Liver Cleanse is in order. The liver is the master gland which tends to correct imbalances in the other glands but will fail miserably in that job if it is toxic itself. Check the files for the "Total Body Cleanse Program". It is what I recommend for you.
