Basically one can get gum pockets down the side of the teeth which become infected and loosen the teeth. One of the best Remedies for that is Dr. Schultze's tooth and gum formula .(in files) Use oak tree galls better than oak tree bark. Otherwise there is a herb called the toothache Plant - a spillanthes acmellia if memeory serves me well - that is extremely good for tightening the gums.
