Guest guest
Urtica Dioica, or stinging nettle, is used for urinary tract infections, kidney and bladder stones, rheumatism, prostate complaints, irritable bladder, and for hay fever. BPH - Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy - is one of the most popular uses (along with Saw Palmetto, pygeum Africanum, pumpkin seed, etc.), and it's histamine actions are valued in hay fever (particularly, in it's freeze dried form). The only contraindications that I found, are for " fluid retention resulting from reduced cardiac or renal activity.
