Guest guest
There was also, a " spring tonic " brew that I saw the recipe for, but can't remember where (my house is a mausoleum of books, magazines, newsletters, etc., etc), but it had ginger, wintergreen, sarsparilla, etc. that may help, if ayone is familiar with that recipe, please post, or I'll do so if i ever find it again!! In Health, Steve ----------------------------- Dear Steve, Your reply on arthritis def agrees wiht my view -I actuallyforgot my Ginger Ale recipe which is easy to give a protesting patient (like a mother or child who won't take the herbs).................Love Penny Ginger ale Recipe Ingredients:- A cup full of chopped Organic ginger root 1 quart of spring water (distilled if possible) Method.Put ginger into cool water. Bring to the Boil . Boil slowly. Simmer until the water is a dark golden colour (about 15 - 20 minutes). Take off Heat. Add Honey or Stevia if required.Cool. Strain out the ginger. Put discarded ginger in garden. You can either add the same amount of carbonated mineral water to the Ginger Water and Cap and put in a cool place ......... OR put the Concentrated Ginger Water in a capped bottle and add to other drinks as needed. It is strong so needs to be diluted by 50% of something else. I use Kombucha Tea, Carbonated Mineral Water, Cranberry Juice etc.., This is an excellent drink at any meal as it is a digestive aid and helps with joint problems.
