Guest guest
Carolyn: I should think the best people to test this out would be other health care practitioners, such as nurses, first. There is no way the massage board can overrule their boards as far as practice issues (as we've discussed for NY). I had heard a while back that ministerial licenses did not support touch healing in Florida, a reactionary move on their part that also affects lay healers who do anything from Therapeutic Touch to Healing Touch to Reiki. In most other states, having a ministerial license supports a healing ministry (which cannot charge for services but takes " donations " ). I am glad somebody " in the know " has passed this along; I hate to jump at shadows. Is there anything anyone outside the state (particularly Reiki Master Teachers like Man & I) can do to help in the process of changing this?
