A question was asked:

What bothers me, personally, is that I went to school with Reiki practitioners

who were spending upwards of $5000 to become LMT's only so they could practice

Reiki; and not a single one of those Reiki practitioners opted to challenge the

local legislation dictating they must be LMT's in order to practice Reiki. That

was the bothersome part.

BTW, not one of those Reiki practitioners expressed any interest in actually

practicing as massage therapists.
