Guest guest
One of the books on journaling that I read years ago and enjoyed is " Journal to the Self - Twenty-Two Paths to Personal Growth by Kathleen Adams, M.A. " . It is easy to follow and has lots of journaling suggestions on different subjects. I have also worked with healing visualizations as well as dreams throughout the years and have found them both to be very helpful time and time again. As you continue your work with dreams you find that you are able to remember more of them. Although I have a number of books on dreams, one interesting workbook is " Dreamworking, A Comprehensive Guide to Working with Dreams by Strephon Kaplan-Williams " . Easy to read and apply but it covers many topics. Not all works have to be complicated, i.e., Alice Bailey's books which offer a wealth of information but are very difficult to understand at first. I want to share an experience I had three years ago. I had a dream with two related dreams following the next two days which I couldn't understand but made sense to me later. Several months after the three dreams, I received a job offer out of nowhere from a person whom I knew but not very well who had left the company a year before. I wasn't looking for a job at the time but was not happy where I was working as there had been a number of big changes during that year. By going back to the three dreams and their meaning, I was able to understand that I should accept this job offer in spite of the fear I had to overcome regarding my MS. I was afraid I would start a new job and then become ill and would either be fired or would have little in terms of disability benefits being a new employee. I'm glad the dreams gave me important insight and I accepted the job which doubled my previous salary and was also a better position. It was one of the best decisions I have had to make but I probably would have been too afraid to make it had it not been for those dreams. Chrisy, I meant to tell you in my previous e-mails that I have several visualization as well as healing audio tapes, one which is geared to MS. If you are interested, contact me and I will be more than happy to make and mail you a copy. I also have a tape called " Musical Accupuncture " which is for pain management and is based on Chinese accupuncture. Some people have found it helpful including one person with Fibromyalgia. I have shared my books and tapes with many over the years when they have been interested or in need and will be more than happy to do so for you or anyone who may be interested. I am on digest because I to several e-mail lists as I know many here do, but I usually get to read my digests within a day or two. Yoga, Chinese healing, NLP, Shamanism, Louise Hay, Joan Borysenko, etc., books and tapes are very informative, inspiring and helpful. There is lots of good information out there. I also enjoy reading about other's experiences and recommendations on this list. Thank you for sharing your experiences and information and helping us all to continue learning. I loved the story on " The Hopping Stone Vision " . Blessings to all, FB __________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com.
