Guest guest
Karen: No one is *not* taking this seriously. But we are confusing issues here, and I am seeing a lot of people with their feathers ruffled trying to defend their personal predjudices by supplying fear-based examples and not exploring the full reality. My stepson was molested by the mother of the children he babysat as a teenager. Sexual abuse happens. There are bad people who use their power to coerce others to do things they would not want to do normally. Do not generalize and assume they are all male. They are not. One should always remember that there is such a thing as " repetition compulsion " which basically says that if you have been abused, you have a high chance of becoming an abuser yourself. Chew on that one for a minute. Before this gets too out of hand, I will repeat, this list will not tolerate male bashing, and that is that. Like it or lump it.
