Guest guest
When I first read this article, I thought about how happy all those hypochondriacs and Munchausen-by-Proxy folks out there are going to be... but after reflecting on it, why not? There are many instances when I might have wanted a CBC or an Ultrasound of something without the hassle of a trip to the doctor, who may or may not indulge my nursing paranoia. It may also be an option for the allopathic shy to be screened; many people hate going to the doctor so much they put it off until their problems have advanced to serious proportions... this might be a way to avoid some of that happening, if they will take those screening results to a knowledgeable professional for interpretation and treatment. At any rate, I figured it is an example of how the individual might be gaining another foothold in self reliance within the health care milieu. http://www.usatoday.com/money/bcovthu.htm -- Blessings, Crow " Look for Rainbows in the Darkness " -- --- Rev.
