Guest guest
Sandy: My feelings on the issue of permission are that it occurs on more than one level... there is: verbal permission with energetic permission verbal rejection with energetic permission verbal permission with energetic rejection verbal rejection with energetic rejection If either of the former two occur, the energy may be utilized by the person's system as needed. In the latter two, the energy will not " connect " and will simply return to Source. Yes, a person may verbally accept assistance, but for some reason their system reject it at a higher level! I would be reluctant to offer energy to a person who has verbally rejected it, except in the form of prayer. In the case of a person who cannot verbally accept or reject the energy (such as a comatose patient or an infant) I send the energy and ask my guides to obtain permission at a higher spiritual level from the person. I do not feel there is an ethical violation if there is permission obtained at the verbal or the energetic level. There are far more things happening on too many levels to reduce this to an issue of express verbal permission. In the case of distance healing with Reiki, you are offering a source of energy, not actually removing the dis-ease from the person, which would be an invasive violation of their karma and yours. What they do with that energy is up to them and may be based on several factors, including the reason they are ill, which may be their lesson, not necessarily something that has to be " cured " . Hope this helps.
