I have come to learn through experience that those who need my help and who are ready to accept it will find me. Those who appear to need my help but do not ask are either not ready or I am not the one to help facilitate their healing. Those who ask but then fail to follow through are in the same category. Those who are truly ready will seek me out and the best I can do is make my services available and known to the best of my ability. As to whether it is intruding upon another's free will to send energy even with the best of intentions and with the intent that it will be used if needed and go elsewhere if not, " in my personal opinion " , it is. Whether they have shields in place or not sending unwanted energy is at best like a buzzing fly and at worst like a sledge hammer crashing in where it wasn't supposed to. We each have our lessons to learn and our choices to make. We don't have the right to intrude upon someone else's choices even if we feel they are wrong because we may be depriving them of something important in the challenge of overcoming the difficulties they have created. So when faced with a situation of someone who could possibly use my help, I follow the following guidelines: I make the initial offer and explain what it is that I do. I give them a card with my numbers. It is up to them to make the choice and follow through. The only exception I make to this is when faced with an emergency situation. One that would fall into the category of calling the paramedics for the physical injuries with a patient who can not give me their verbal consent. I will then provide support until the paramedics arrive. Please note that the above is my own personal code of ethics and I don't expect anyone else to totally agree with my choices. I have just learned that for me personally sending energy where it is not wanted has as irritating an effect on me as I am sure it does on the person on the receiving end, where as energy sent where it is wanted and accepted has a soothing effect on us both.
