Trees in the Druid tradition are also likened to people, or maybe it's that

people are likened to trees. Anyway, the whole Druid alphabet (Ogham) was

developed around trees.

When I was young, many of my favorite times were spent in trees. I used to

take books up to read, reclining on their branches. It became my escape from

seven siblings and parents crowded into a too small house.
