Hi Isis - The hours you quote as sleeptimes are my normal hours. I am 50

years old, but like to read in bed until my eyes will no longer hold

themselves open. It's a nice feeling to then turn out the light, wrap

pillows around me and snuggle down under the covers. On weekends, when I

don't have to get up to work, my unconscious knows I can sleep in and catch

up whatever I missed during the week. Then that's a nice feeling, too.

On the other hand, when I was young I had insomnia. Didn't know it until I

started doing hatha yoga before bed and regularly fell asleep on the floor!

Maybe it's not bad that you wake up at 5:30 am. Have you tried being happy

about it, maybe getting up to do something special early in the morning?

Like listening to beautiful music while drinking a favorite cup of tea? Can

you see the sunrise from any of your windows?

Early-riser Cheers - Susette
