Help!

We are in desperate measure here. We've had a tick outbreak for the last few

months (we live in Florida).

We have had " enough " with all those chemicals and don't want to subject our

dog to any more (nor do we want to fumigate our house yet again).

Is there an herb that we could give to our dog that would naturally repel

those blasted vermin?

Thanks

Kristin

I'm not sure if it works on ticks but fennel is supposed to be good for

getting rid of fleas. You can use the herb in the bedding and made up as a

tea for a rinse after washing your dog. Whole garlic taken internally is

also good for fleas and intestinal worms.

Hi Kristin

Same problem here in Australia. Around where I live on sandy coastline they

are ferocious.

My book suggested rubbing/soaking the animal in tea tree oil. But it

didn't say how often. I suspect it would be a daily chore. I will be

trying it myself for I think the risk that it doesn't work is still worth

the chance.

Good luck

Liz
