Rich:

I use escribe as a backup for the archives of the lists I moderate, but I do

not know how to " join " a list through them. That I am aware of they don't

direct mail anyone from their site, they only archive and allow responses,

like a bulletin board.

This is the info I got from the site:

" eScribe is a free service for mailing list owners who wish to provide their

rs with the ability to search and browse past messages via the web.

We provide public and private access. "

So unless you join the list elsewhere, if the archives of a list are

private, they are passworded and you will not be able to access them. In

addition, I did not see the group you mentioned (espire) on a search of

eScribe. The only espire I found on eGroups was a very small group for

people in Tucson. Are you sure you have the name and location right for

contacting them?

Blessings,

Does anyone know how to to a list on www.escribe.com.

Someone mentioned this list in one of the lists I belong to.

I found a couple of related lists, but there was no way to sign up

for them.

I tried contacting espire directly, but they have chosen to ignore my

request for info.

Thanks, and blessings,

Rich Haslam
