Hi Angharad Truthsayer aka Sandy Roberts As your footnote says >We within us carry all the knowledge necessary to create a beautiful >universe filled with love, laughter and joy. Begin today to find this >within you and share it with the world. You will find that it will be the >greatest journey you can ever imagine. I also have fibromyalgia for many years and have spent the last 3 years searching for health on the net. As a registered nurse I studied medical information until I came to the cross roads of the mind and body and realised that any metabolic disruption affects the hypothalamus and thus disrupts the neurones. Finally I have found a doctor who believes the problems may be created by emotional disruption which affects the limbic system in the hypothalamus and that sets up disruption in the body. He believes treating both the emotional and the physical symptoms is the key to a quicker return to health. Whilst I know the break up of your marriage will be frightening and painful if your experience is anything like mine it was hanging on to a negative relationship that was creating the damage in the first place. Terrified by fear of financial needs I then looked at the very poor and realised that in the midst of terrible tragedy people survive. I knew I had the intelligence and resources to do that so with that fear under wraps I set about more purposely dealing with the problem. I suppose it would be called faith in myself. I think God helps those who help themselves. I found life is neither just nor fair but universal spirit does support you. When you are in pain its often difficult to find the strengths to fight for material needs so I recommend hand it over to a profesional. A good solicitor is an essential person to call on for help. One of the best sites for medical and research information is http://www.spirit.net.au/~masmith/ I think there is something there on Chiari malformation and I read recently of successful treatment. There is also a section dealing with pain management and the use of opiates. I found a dramatic difference when I changed my diet to low carb/high protein and discovered that I have a intolerance to wheat, barley, rye, oats and dairy. (Coeliac disease.) My pain diminished dramatically and only flares when I consume something with those grains. Not everyone with fibromyalgia has this problem but some research points to damage to the metabolism and some symptoms can be relieved by a high protein intake. The low carb/high protein diet also helps a lot of peole who have metabolic dysfunctions but it is getting a lot of bad press because it goes against many fast food industry diets of the multinational companies. The way we assimilate foods in our body and use it as fuel is often affected by our emotional state. Emotional disruption also often means I take less care of what I eat and my problems really flare then. Another site which details the foods that can be making you ill http://www.foodcanmakeyouill.co.uk Your complete guide to food intolerance All foods are made up of components that affect our body. Many bodies become intolerant of things in some different foods especially under emotional pressure. I believe within all of us is far more stengths than we ever realise and its only when the time of great need arises that we discover just how deep that well is. A marriage break up experience may be a big learning curve. As you deal with issues within yourself and with the world you will marvel at the resources you find. I think the light at the end of the tunnel is often lit brighter when we recognise our inner strength. I bet you find a lot more than you ever realised was possible. Have you found Emotional Freedom Techniques site ? http://www.emofree.com/ Some interesting techniques to help you overcome the fears that may bind you up. Loving and caring thought are sent to you from Australia Love Liz The story of my search for health can be found at http://www.spirit.net.au/~masmith/docs/stories/liz.htm
