Guest guest
I'm posting this link with Caroline's permission - many of you have probably already received this from other sources, but I think it can be visited more than once with good results: As we all probably know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Going to the following URL and then clicking on the pink ribbon on the left side of the screen will donate one dollar towards breast cancer research. This is not bogus. This is a charitable service provided by , and I would encourage everyone to take a few seconds to click on. It's a very easy way to do something good today. Thanks, Florie The URL is: http://health./ ============== " Man makes plans, God laughs. " --Stein ==============

Guest guest
I always have a personal problem with hearing names like " breast cancer awareness month " It feels to me that it would be more beneficial to name something in a positive light. What if it were called " Healthy Breast Awareness Month. " If thought (visualizing a complete and perfectly functioning body) coupled with the direction of our emotion equals feeling and that " feeling " becomes our silent prayer that we continue with moment to moment for any malady, whether health of our body or the world, then could we not affect a great change in our own body and the in the world around us? Calling attention to cancer seems to me, for me, to reinforce its power over lives, and I think it need not have that power, because it truly need not be part of what we call our life.
